In the spring of 2012, Chef Megan McClurg opened her first pastry shop in Los Angeles, CA. While she offered a list of confections a mile long, there was always one standout: a unique line of deliciously buttery shortbread cookies. No one else was making shortbread quite like this, and it quickly became a favorite among her original customers.
When life eventually brought Megan and her husband, Jared, to Nashville, they brought that expertise and passion for baking with them. In 2018, they distilled those years of experience into a new venture focused exclusively on Megan's signature shortbread.
Today, we continue to create a variety of flavors that represent the perfect blend of artistry and baking. As a company, we celebrate diversity and inclusion. We work hard to reduce our environmental footprint by focusing on recyclable packaging, ethically sourced ingredients, and minimal food waste. We are committed to our craft and take great pride in the quality of our shortbread—and the people who make it.
